As the number of cannabis users increased, so did the demands for higher quality and more tasty strains.
While it is not entirely an assurance that a particular strain has all the qualities that a user is looking for, a large number of choices that breeders provide in the market is perhaps the next best thing.
Information about Tangerine Haze:
It is not a secret that cannabis can be used for both recreational and medicinal purposes.
Regardless of the intention of a consumer, the consensus almost always goes down to the strain’s flavor and aroma.
Typically, those strains that are supposedly boasting of delightful scents and flavors are those that are named after these unique characteristics.
However, not every one of them actually lives up to their names.
Nonetheless, one particular strain has been recognized by the cannabis community as one of the few out there that has the flavor and aroma that stays true to its name. This hybrid strain is called the Tangerine Haze.
The Tangerine Haze is a cross between the G13 Haze and the NYC Diesel. Both parent strains are actually hybrids themselves.
The History of Tangerine Haze can be traced back from its supposed origin in the Netherlands.
While others are not quite certain where specifically in the country, some would claim that it was in Amsterdam where the strain was first developed.
Nonetheless, the story leads to the North American breeder, the Devil’s Harvest Krew.
They are believed to be the ones who have discovered the strain around 2003 to 2004 and bred the Tangerine Haze that users know today. Unfortunately, it is still a clone-only strain.
Today, Tangerine Haze is a popular strain among cannabis users in Canada, Colorado and in the west coast.

Growing
Unfortunately, growing Tangerine Haze at home may be quite a challenge. It requires some level of knowledge and experience on how to properly grow cannabis in order to successfully cultivate it.
It can be grown indoor or outdoor in a Mediterranean climate. While location matters outdoor, that is not a concern if Tangerine Haze is grown indoor with a proper setup. Indoor, this cannabis can be grown using soil or hydroponics.
Note that growing indoor, it is best to top early and let the plant branch out and grow bushier, which improves the yield. But that also means growers would have to support the branches as the heavy buds could be too much for the branches and stems.
Flowering Time
Indoors
If grown indoors, the flowering time of Tangerine Haze should take about 8 to 9 weeks. Make sure to harvest them on time in order to maximize those flavors. Otherwise, late harvest diminishes the distinct tangerine taste of the strain. As for the expected indoor yield, it should be around 18 to 23 ounces per square meter.
Outdoors
So as long as the plant grows in an ideal climate, the buds should be ready for harvest by mid to late October. This will produce a yield of 24 ounces or more per plant.
