Paradise Waits strain was bred on a small farm in Humboldt County, California, by breeders Scarlet Fire Farms.
This family-owned company created the strain by crossing Harlequin with their very own Scarlet Fire. Though Harlequin is better known for its CBD content (10%) over its THC (7%-15%), Scarlet Fire brings the heat with THC levels ranging from 20% to 25%.
Review: Paradise Waits Strain
The resulting Paradise Waits strain has a THC content of at least 16%, with levels reaching up to 29%. This THC dominant hybrid has very little CBD but still delivers a balanced (and potent) high with a range of therapeutic benefits.
The terpene profile is led primarily by myrcene, pinene, and caryophyllene.
There’s also terpineol, fenchol, and linalool. While this is well-known, there are still conflicting data regarding the exact indica/sativa ratio.
Paradise Waits is an indica dominant strain. Some say it’s 50/50, while others say it’s 70% indica and 30% sativa. Regardless, you can look forward to enjoying the full effects of the strain regardless of the actual indica/sativa ratio.
Though the Paradise Waits weed strain has built quite a reputation for itself, it’s not as easily accessible as most other strains of its kind.
Very few retailers can get their hands on this mysterious strain, and seeds are not yet available. Scarlet Fire Farms are still holding this one very close to the chest.

Fragrance of Paradise Waits
Paradise Waits Strain Fragrance
Paradise Waits smells like utopia after a fresh rain. There’s a musky odor of damp soil and glistening flowers hovering in the air. Notes of pine, herb, and spice filter through the creamy earth and soft florals. A refreshing aroma of sweet and sour citrus tempts your taste buds.
You can’t see the city you’ve left behind, but you can detect hints of diesel lingering in the background. The diesel becomes more pungent as the nugs are burned, but the florals, citrus, and cream never disappear.

Overall the flavor is pungent but smooth, and you’ll enjoy every toke.
Paradise Waits Strain Adverse Reactions
You definitely don’t want this strain if you’re trying cannabis for the first time or if you’re highly susceptible to the effects of THC.
Unlike other potent strains, the Paradise Waits weed strain can cause auditory and visual hallucinations. This can be overwhelming, even for most seasoned smokers, and can lead to feelings of concern, anxiety, and paranoia.
If you do experience these reactions, you can follow the 5-4-3-2-1 grounding strategy:
in your surroundings, find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
Paradise Waits Plant
The strain also hits the brain with a hard rush which can leave you lightheaded and dizzy. The effects are just as intense on the body, so couchlock may be on the agenda.
If you’re not a fan of strains that leave you unfunctional, Paradise Waits is not the one for you.
More mild side effects include dry mouth, extreme thirst, and hunger. You can minimize the discomfort of these reactions by keeping plenty of food and water nearby.
You’re also likely to be left with dry and itchy eyes, so eye drops are a must.
Growing Paradise Waits Strain
Sadly, it’s difficult to come across a Paradise Waits strain review with much growing information. Scarlet Fire Farms’ dedication to organic and eco-friendly farming is allegedly why they have yet to make their seeds available to the general public. They’ve chosen their values over profit, and though the green world is disappointed, it only adds to the overall appeal of this strain.
Because growers haven’t had the opportunity to cultivate this one yet, there is a gap of information that only experience can bring. We do know it can be grown indoors and outdoors and is moderately easy to do. The plant, a symbol of the strain’s psychedelic prowess, has a color palette of forest green, rich purple, and golden amber hues.
The popcorn-shaped nugs are small, firm, and dense. Rich purple hues peek from beneath a thick layer of forest green, contrasting splendidly with the golden amber pistils.
The coating of trichomes is frosted-looking, encapsulating the buds in a crystal orb of potent psychedelic goodness.
