Nice Cherry Strain

Nice Cherry is an appealing strain for most Indica lovers with a penchant for subtle head highs and powerful relaxing effects. While its use for recreation is evident, Nice Cherry is also versatile enough for medical users to enjoy. What it lacks in CBD, its makes up for high levels of THC. In this way, it retains enough therapeutic value to be of use to the medical marijuana community.

Information about Nice Cherry:

The influence of Cherry is evident in the herb’s taste and smell. It combines sweet, skunky, and earthy overtones to make it a delightful dessert for a wide range of users. In fact, many are enticed to try it because of these flavors alone. Its relaxing and buildable high, on the other hand, are from Mr. Nice. Sadly, its breeder remains an enigma.

Effects

Indicas are notorious for their slow onset. But, Nice Cherry may as well be the exception. With THC levels ranging from 14% to 21%, it is not only potent but also buildable. Puffing just the right amount of hits from a bong or a rolled joint, one can easily be transported to a dreamy state – where wellness is the central concern.

Though subtle, the euphoric rush inspires a sense of happiness from within. With their newfound confidence, users turn into social butterflies armed with funny anecdotes, interesting experiences, or perhaps profound ideas. Whatever it is, it brings out the chattiness of even the shyest, most reclusive of enthusiasts. Snacks will have to be prepared ahead of time though. No doubt, the subtle mental stimulation, and social interactions eat away energy.

Another important reason to keep food nearby is to satisfy the palate before the strain’s powerful body high takes hold. Because, when it does, the chances of being able to move around are limited. In fact, even doing little physical activities seem like tough work. In excess, the heavy-hitting effects lock users to their couches.

The best time to toke Nice Cherry is, without a doubt, a few hours before bedtime. Its sedating effects end the day right and make for a great companion in bed. Hours after the first puff, users will have already found themselves in a mystic dreamland.

Fragrance

Nice Cherry smells strongly of skunk. Meanwhile, its undertones are refreshing and reminiscent of pine. Broken apart or combusted, the sweet and fruity scent of mixed berries permeate in the air.

Flavors

Nice Cherry tastes just like how its name implies – like sweet cherries. It also has notes of blueberry and grapes that are surprisingly delectable in the palate. Its aftertaste, however, is that of the skunk blended with damp earth.

Adverse Reaction

Consuming Nice Cherry almost always brings about a dry spell. Often, it affects the eyes. And, as it inhibits the production of saliva, users end up with a cottonmouth too. Thankfully, neither are a big deal. However, if the discomfort continues, one may opt to have a glass of water.

A headache is also in the cards. Because of its potency, its heavy hitting high can sometimes catch users off guard. The likelihood of experiencing such body-slamming effects increases with dosage. As such, it is best to pace consumption.

Medical

Stress is the bane of modern man’s existence. If left constantly suppressed, it can send one directly to the hospital or hasten the onset of depression and anxiety. To this end, marijuana works perfectly. Its psychoactive compounds rid the mind of worry and negativity. In their place is a calmness that appeases symptoms of mental conditions like those mentioned above as well as PTSD.

However, as an Indica leaning strain with potent levels of THC, Nice Cherry’s best use is arguably physical. After all, the same stimulating compounds restore the appetite to even food-deprived bodies. Its soothing body high can also be used to ease pain beginning from the temples.

Sweet Cherry’s relaxing and sedative effects have obvious benefits. More than just an analgesic, they turn the strain into a better sleep aid than synthetic ones.

Growing

Anyone can grow Nice Cherry. Its excellent genes, as well as Indica structure, make it naturally sturdy. Meanwhile, its manageable height allows growers to cultivate it within the confines of a small grow room. If space is really a premium, breeders can choose to either bend the plant or shorten its vegetative stage.

The strain also grows rather wide and bushy, necessitating constant pruning. Although, aspiring growers will have to be careful not to cut sugar leaves. After all, they contain the same sticky resin as the buds.

Grown indoors, temperatures should be kept below 26°C especially as it hits the flowering stage. At this level, grow lights are not hot enough to burn off parts of the plant. Neither is the room too humid for buds to rot. Moreover, this range encourages heavier resin production and bigger buds.

At the moment, the original breeder has not made any seeds publicly available. While acquiring cuts from a mature plant is still an option, it is equally taxing.

Flowering Time

Indoors

Nice Cherry’s pungent scent can sometimes be too overpowering as it hits the flowering stage. Hence, those that wish to stay low-key must invest in a good odor-control system. A reliable carbon-filter and strong intake fan should do the trick. With that said, each square meter should produce about 10 to 12 ounces of buds within 7 to 8 weeks.

Outdoors

Nice Cherry thrives in a natural environment and should be ready for harvest by the first week of October. Each of its mature plants produces at least 12 ounces of trichome frosted buds.
